Lil Nas X has nearly finished his next album, apparently.
Posting on Twitter earlier today, he shared images of two tracks – ‘late to the party (ft. youngboy)’ and ‘down souf hoes ft. saucy santana’.
In response, one fan asked if the music was for a deluxe edition of last year’s album ‘Montero’.
In response, Lil Nas X replied “nah new album close to finished”.
‘Montero’ was released only in September 2021, and is nominated for Album of the Year at this year’s Grammy Awards. Time will tell if he’s being serious here, or if this is a bit of internet ’fun’.
