Lilith Ai premieres lead track from upcoming ‘Fight Like A Girl vol 1’ mixtape

The compilation lands this Friday, with a 69-page ‘zine.
Later this week, Lilith Ai is releasing her ‘Fight Like A Girl vol 1’ compilation, an 18 track mixtape named after the feminist/LGBT+ art/music collective she runs in London.

It features a bunch of her favourite up-and-coming female artists and comes with a 69-page ‘zine featuring photos, cartoons, poetry and artwork from members of the F.L.A.G collective.

Today she’s premiering the video for lead track ‘Rude Grrrl’, a tribute to both Jamaican Rude Gal culture and the 90s DIY Riot Grrrl scene – check it out below, first on Dork.

Lilith says: “I put ‘Fight Like a Girl’ together because I had always wanted to belong to something but never felt like I fitted in anywhere really, so I found a bunch of other girls who felt like ‘outsiders’ too and now we all belong together.

“We are all different from each other but we fit somehow. We support each other’s individuality and find unity in our diversity, just doing what we love.”
