Listen to Thom Yorke’s ‘First Time’ interview on BBC 6 Music

An hour of Radiohead's frontman is appointment radio.
A rare interview with Thom Yorke was aired as part of BBC 6 Music’s ‘First Time’ series over the weekend, and it turned up all kind of nuggets.

Coming ahead of the band’s appearance headlining Glastonbury in a couple of weeks, it touches on everything from Radiohead’s creative process to the 20th anniversary reissue of ‘OK Computer’ and politics.

As part of the show, Yorke had a few thinly veiled comments for the likes of Donald Trump and Theresa May. “You will be impeached shortly, mate,” he said. “You are not a leader, love—and the people are going to see it very soon, love. One day at a time. You can’t sustain this. It’s not going to work. Good luck. One day at a time. We ain’t stupid.”
