Logic1000 has shared 'The Only One', a collaboration with Christine and the Queens, ahead of her second album 'Confirmation!' on 2nd October via Therapy/Because Music.
The pair have history: Logic1000 remixed the title track of Christine and the Queens' 'La Vita Nuova' EP in 2020, but this is their first proper song together. They met in person for the first time on the set of the Dora Paphides-directed video, which stars Rahim Redcar with a dance troupe from Worthing.
"From the early sketches of 'The Only One,' we knew Rahim would be the perfect voice for this song," Logic1000 says. "He embraced the track and put so much love into it. The turnaround was extraordinarily quick too. Honestly, he is a generational talent, which you can also see in the music video for the track."
"It was a true honor and inspiration for me to work with Logic1000," Redcar says. "I immediately jumped on my mic and felt this urge to sing to the younger generations, the one who will have to take over the sorry burning world our elders legated them. This song is dedicated to them, the young who will change this world."
'Confirmation!' follows 2024 debut 'Mother' and also features KUČKA, Jam City, FAUZIA and yunè pinku. Logic1000 plays Manchester's New Century Locker on 10th October.
