London Grammar cover The Verve during a stunning Radio 1 session

The trio are back, just in case you haven’t been swept off your feet yet
Dropping into Radio 1 last night for an extra sweet Valentines treat, London Grammar well and truly ignited a huge year for ‘em with a stellar Radio 1 session.

Kicking through new numbers ‘Rooting For You’ and ‘Big Picture’, the trio also looked back with a swelling version of first album mover ‘Strong’ before turning The Verve’s ‘Bitter Sweet Symphony’ into a chilling and stripped-back heart-melter that we’ll be clicking play on for the rest of the winter f’sure.

London Grammar are warming themselves right up ahead of a new album (rumoured to land this year at some point) which we’ll definitely hear more of when the band play some big festival slots this summer, with confirmed slots at Parklife and TRNSMT already on the cards.

Dim the lights, light a candle and check out the full session for Radio 1 here.
