Lonely The Brave have a new frontman

They'll be introducing their reshuffled line-up at a one off show this October.

Lonely The Brave recently waved farewell to their co-founding vocalist David Jakes, who departed the group due to health reasons. Now, they’re letting us know who’s set to be his replacement.

Jack Bennett – knownfor his solo work under the name Grumble Bee – is joining the band as their new vocalist, as the band continue work on a forthcoming third album.

“We don’t know where to start with everything that has happened over the last 12 months or so,” the band say, “so first of all we all want to say thank you to every single one of you that has messaged us with your support during this period. Nothing worth doing is ever easy and your continued words of encouragement really have helped galvanise our belief that this band has so much more to give.”

Lonely The Brave will be introducing their new line-up with a special first live outing, taking place at London’s Omeara on 13th October. On sale from Friday, 17th August at 9am, the one off date will have an early curfew of 10pm and feature no support acts.

“It fills us with pride to say that this new chapter of our history will begin in earnest on the 13th October,” the band explain. “The show is our way of thanking every single one of you for standing by us and understanding that this is a continuation; that the songs really are the most important part.”
