Lonely The Brave’s frontman David Jakes has left the band, but they’re soldiering on

He says touring has taken a toll on his mental health.
Lonely the Brave’s lead singer, David Jakes has departed the band.

Citing problems with touring and playing live, he says they’ve “made things really difficult concerning my mental health.”

The band aren’t going to split however, with the remaining members revealing that “the four of us will continue with a new vocalist and we plan to begin the search as soon as possible.”

“We shall return to the live arena when the time is right,” they add, “and will be continuing to work on new material in the meantime.”

Lonely the Brave’s latest album, ‘Things Will Matter’ was out in 2016. They also released a redux version last year.
