Looks like Gorillaz are going back on the road soon…

Their official website seems to let slip that Live plans are a-coming.
It seems that every few weeks, we get another teaser from the Gorillaz camp – but this time it seems like they’ve unintentionally let slip that there’s some live plans in the making around this teased new album.

Thanks to the almighty power, (and persistence) of Reddit – the band’s soon-to-be relaunched website contains a number of different codes including a tab titled “Live”.

I know, wonder what that means.

So it seems that live plans are certainly in the making – which would make this Gorillaz’ first tour in over 5 years.

Fans of the band have also been treated to a whole heap of social activity over the past few days, highlighting different parts of their career each day this week – potentially leading to Friday being a pretty seismic day if that pattern is anything to go by.

It comes around the hotly anticipated new album that we’ve been teased and sampled with over the past 12 months, with rumours of collaborations with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Vic Mensa, Jean Michel Jarre and De La Soul amongst others.

All we know is that 2017 is going to be an interesting one for Damon Albarn’s band of animated friends.
