Phoebe Bridgers and Clairo are credited with backing vocals on Lorde‘s comeback track ‘Solar Power’

  • Stephen Ackroyd
  • June 10, 2021

Lorde‘s comeback single ‘Solar Power’ briefly appeared online for a short period of time earlier today (Thursday 10th June), ahead of an expected launch later tonight.

Reports suggest that the song will land at 11pm BST, with unverified social media accounts suggesting it was “due to the leaks of the cover art and snippets”.

Before then, though, the song went live on some streaming services in select countries, before being removed.

While there’ fans managed to get hold of credits for the track, which list that backing vocals on the song come from both Phoebe Bridgers and Clairo.
