Low Island have a new collection of songs on the way, but it’s def “not an album”

‘Low Island 17-18’ will arrive in September.

Low Island have announced a new collection of songs, ‘Low Island 17-18’.

The batch of tracks – which they’re keen to emphasise “is not an album” – features a selection of songs from the past year or so, and will arrive on 20th September.

Carlos Posada explains: “This is not an album, it’s a collection of selected songs from the tonne of music we’ve released over the past year and a half. We wanted to use this opportunity to take stock of our journey so far and put something physical out. ‘Low Island 17–18’ is a snapshot of our first chapter as a band.”

To celebrate the release, Low Island will play a launch party at the O2 Academy Oxford on 21st September. You can also catch them at Truck this weekend, as well as Kendal Calling and 110 Above.
