Loyle Carner puts love under the microscope with new track ‘Damselfly’

Featuring longtime pal Tom Misch - it’s the jazz-filled groover of the year
Loyle Carner is gearing up big-time for the release of his debut album in just over a week, and is doing it in style with his latest mover ‘Damselfly’.

Featuring the wistful blues and swooning guitar lines of previous collaborator Tom Misch, it’s a love-lorn serenade that soundtracks those confusing moments in a relationship where you wonder, what on earth ‘appened there? All with that suave charm that’s made Loyle the leading voice in British hip-hop.

‘Yesterday’s Gone’ – Loyle’s debut album – is set to land on January 20th, brimmed full of the infectious beats and instant-classic hooks that we’ve grown to love from Mr Carner. He’ll mark the release with his biggest UK headline tour to date next month, including not one, but TWO nights at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire.

Loyle chats about his journey to ‘Yesterday’s Gone’ in the next issue of the magazine, which you can go and pre-order now. Trust us, the story is one you’ll definitely want to hear.
