Loyle Carner will still swap your vintage footie shirt for tickets, if it’s special, but maybe he’ll take a recipe from your gran too?

"Mum! MUM!! Do you have the family cookbook?"

Today marks the beginning of Loyle Carner‘s EU and UK tour, with three nights at Amsterdam’s Paradiso. To celebrate, he shared a new tweet this morning, in which he reaffirmed his continued willingness to give out some tickets to his shows in exchange for some “special” football t-shirts and more.

Carner, who recently released his latest album ‘hugo’ in October 2022, wrote, “for everyone asking. of course I’m still down to swap footy shirts for tickets. But they’ve gotta be special. Same way with LC tattoos. But this time round I’m feeling to add something else. Maybe recipes, esp ones from your grandmother…”

Carner has been swapping footie shirts for tickets since back in 2017. Good work if you can get it.

The tour comes shortly after Carner’s nomination for the 2023 Best Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act BRIT Award alongside Central Cee, Aitch, Dave and Stormzy.
