lozeak’s latest release, ‘Cutthroat’, sees her learn how to get rid of the toxic people in her life.

The track follows previous single, ‘XO’, and comes off the back of a busy year spent making a name for herself as one of the most exciting artists on the rise. Having teased the track over on TikTok for the past few weeks, she hinted that ‘Cutthroat’ was her “first sad song”.

Explaining the track, lozeak shared: “I always struggle with upsetting people, and I struggle to end relationships or friendships because I don’t wanna be the bad guy. But as I was writing that I realised that sometimes you have to be.”

lozeak’s fusion of grungy-rock influences and a pop outlook has earned her fans in Oli Sykes and Jack Saunders — if ‘Cutthroat’ is anything to by, 2023 looks like it could have some exciting things in store for the artist.
