Rising Darlington artist Luke Royalty has dropped a new track, ‘no1cares’.
Only beginning to dabble in music in his late teens, Luke has spent the year performing a blistering stretch of live shows, including support slots with Baby Queen and Jake as well as his own sold-out headline show at London’s Kentish Forum.
His new single follows the release of his debut EP, ‘My Blue Room’ which was shared in April. On its inspiration, he shares: “‘no1cares‘ is about learning to stop overthinking and discovering that ‘no one cares’ about your insecurities as much as you do,”
The track has arrived with a relaxed music video, shot entirely in Tynemouth. “I gave complete creative control to Manta for this video,” Royalty has said. “He interpreted the song in a way that I hadn’t thought of. We’d hoped for a sunny day but typically it rained for the entirety of the filming, which in the end turned out for the better as it complimented the end-of-summer feel to the song.”
