Maggie Rogers has requested a dress code for this week’s London show

She plays Lafayette this Wednesday, 20th July.

Dork cover star Maggie Rogers has shared a statement with fans about her upcoming London show at Lafayette this Wednesday, 20th July.

Taking to Twitter, Maggie has asked attendees wear “white or light colours”, to symbolise surrender. ‘Surrender’, of course, is the name of Maggie’s upcoming album, set for release on 29th July.

Writing about the request, she said: “It represents a willingness to give in or let go. ‘Surrender’ is a record about just that. It’s about feeling. About trying to break the numbness. About love and anger and friendship and the kind of feral joy you feel in your teeth.”

She recently released another preview of ‘Surrender’, with the release of track ‘Horses’.

You can read all about the feral joy in her new record that Maggie speaks of in the latest issue of Dork, available to order now.
