Maisie Peters has apparently finished her chaotic bop ‘Cate’s Brother’, and you can finally hear the chorus

There's no release date yet, but there is more of the song to listen to.

Maisie Peters has leaked more of her a new song she’s been teasing, written about her best friend Cate’s’s brother.

After weeks of teasing out, Maisie finally says she’s finished the chaotic bop, and has shared more of the song on TikTok, which you can check out below.

@maisiehpeters I FINISHED THE SONG ABOUT MY FRIEND’S BROTHER AND UR GONNA WANNA HEAR THIS #livelaughlove #originalsong #bestfriends ♬ original sound – maisie peters

The song, which has rather ‘taken a life of its own’ in recent weeks, was originally teased on Twitter, with Maisie asking.: “guys shall i do something deeply insane yes or no”

A couple of hours later, Maisie returned, stating: “i did the insane thing go and check tiktok”

“I wrote a song about my best friend’s brother and I wish I was joking but I’m genuinely not,” she wrote in the caption.

The track shows a more 90s pop-punk edge to Maisie’s sound. You can check out the snippet below.

Since then, she’s played snippets of the track on a couple of occasions, teasing it to crowds on her current tour across ‘the pond’. Recently she took to Twitter again, because she’s “feeling risky and sexy and like I wanna fuck shit up”.

And here’s what she dropped.

@maisiehpeters playing my song about my friend’s brother with my whole band can u tell they love it #livelaughlove #bestfriends ♬ original sound – maisie peters

We’ve no idea when the track lands, or when Maisie will get the help she needs to avoid making these questionable life choices. Her debut album ‘You Signed Up For This’ is out now.
