Pop’s queen of chaos Maisie Peters has posted a live cover of Wheatus’ ‘Teenage Dirtbag’ – watch

She's also asking her manager about releasing 'Cate's Brother'. Doubt they'll say no.

Pop’s queen of chaos Maisie Peters has taken a break from writing songs about friends siblings and has dropped a new live cover of Wheatus’ ‘Teenage Dirtbag’.

Filmed live in Salt Lake City, the cover was prepared at a point she was considering what to do if forced to do a show acoustically.

“We decided to do something we’ve literally never done,” she explains before starting the track, “so if you know it, sing along.”

You can check out the performance below.

Also, Maisie has insisted she’s going to ask her manager about releasing ‘Cate’s Brother’ – the new track she’s been teasing for weeks. No, we doubt they’ll say no either – but if they could wait a week or two so the whole article we’ve written about it for the next issue of Dork can come out first (Hi Maisie, yes, we’re doing this to you – Ed), that would be lovely.
