Majical Cloudz’ Devon Welsh releases new Belave album

A week on from Majical Cloudz' final show, Welsh shares ‘Indigo, Streams, Lash’ - a new album from his project with Matthew E. Duffy.
Majical Cloudz’ Devon Welsh has followed up the duo’s final show last week by releasing ‘Indigo, Streams, Lash’ – a new album from Belave, his project with former Majical Cloudz member Matthew E. Duffy.

The record, recorded over the last year and a half, credits Duffy with “words and vocals”, while Welsh gets the credit for all the music. Austin Milne, who previously played with Welsh in the Pop Winds, contributed saxophone.

Writing on a new website, Welsh explains: “I think with this project we are always trying to create our own world and make something that we have never heard before,” he said. “It’s definitely a science experiment, and I think we are hoping for new discoveries.”
