Pop star in waiting, Malory has shared her second single.
The follow up to debut ‘Rapture’, ‘Nuclear Brandy’ is an enchanting off-beat pop number that sees Malory showcase her talent for quirky beats.
“This song is the purple and green, to ‘Rapture’’s blacks and reds in my sonic rainbow,” she says, “an introduction into the surreal and playful side of my imagination.
“I also wrote it wondering if the deadening effect of suburban life might not be worse than nuclear fallout… As Bob Dylan once said, ‘Instead of learning to live they are learning to die’.
“(It’s also the last cocktail you have before the lights go out…)”
Catch Malory live playing a UMA Music Horizons Showcase on 15th November at Birthdays in London.
