Psychedelic nine-piece Mandrake Handshake have released ‘Vitamin Sunday’, a new track from their upcoming EP, ‘The Triple Point Of Water’, which will arrive on November 18th.

It is the second single from the new record, following April drop ‘Monolith’, and follows Mandrake Handhshake’s 2021 debut EP, ‘Shake The Hand That Feeds You’ – Dork described the four-track releases as, “more packed than a car boot sale on a Sunday morning,” in a 3-star review which you can read here.

On the new track, the band explain: “It’s about moving to London, and feel ing lonely there. It’s about accepting the alienation of adult life: when your friends grow up, they start doing their own thing, and it doesn’t necessarily line up with where you are and where you’re going.”

“People might leave you, but not from your sense of self,” they add. “You can lose a friend, but they’re still shaping who you are and how you act, and that’s a nice way of holding onto people”.

You can listen to ‘Vitamin Sundayhere.

Mandrake Handshake will be hosting an EP launch party show at London’s Paper Dress Vintage on November 19th, with tickets available here
