Manchester-based newcomer Manta has dropped a new track ‘Me, Myself & I’.

The song comes alongside a new EP, ‘Confined Spaces’, set to arrive on 25th March via Manchester’s LAB Records.

Speaking about the track, Manta says: “Me Myself and I was written during the first lockdown when I was going through a really tough time mentally. I tried writing ‘sad songs’ to make myself feel better to get things off my chest but it just made me feel worse. Instead, I decided to flip it on its head and make an upbeat happy sounding song but lyrically everything I was going through at the time.”

Speaking about the title of the EP, he explains: “Confined spaces I think sums up the EP perfectly because everything at the time just felt so ‘confined’. Mentally stuck in a head space, worried and overthinking everything, then physically being in a lockdown spending days on end alone unable to see family and friends. Each song on the EP means a lot to me and helped me through different emotions I was going through, so I feel like it’s a perfect project that sums up lockdown for me.”
