Marika Hackman introduces ‘My Lover Cindy’

  • Dork News Desk
  • April 6, 2017
Promising one of the standout albums of the year (yeah, we’re calling it that already because we’re sure it’s going to be an absolute cracker), Marika Hackman has unveiled a fresh new track in the form of ‘My Love Cindy’

Twirling its way through carefree colours of immediate warmth that go from delicate hooks to driving lines, it’s a pristine jam we’ll be spreading all over our ears for the coming months and beyond. Jammy ears are happy ears after all.

With both featuring the legends that are The Big Moon as a backing band, ‘My Lover Cindy’ follows ‘Boyfriend’ as lead cuts from incoming new album ‘I’m Not Your Man’, set for release on June 2nd. Marika will play a string of headline shows to mark the release in Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and London, before appearances at this year’s The Great Escape and Latitude.
