Massive Attack unveil three new songs – through their app

  • Dork News Desk
  • July 26, 2016
Not ones for slowing down or looking backwards, Massive Attack have unveiled a trio of new tracks – and have done so through their own bloody app.

‘Come Near Me’, ‘Dear Friend’ and ‘The Spoils’ have all been dropped on their Fantom app, which was previously used to unveil their latest ‘Ritual Spirit’ EP earlier in the year.

Allowing the user to remix and manipulate the tracks through all sorts of different variables such as heartbeat, location and movement amongst others – it’s not a bad way of dropping a few bangers.

You can check out the tracks and the app here.

The iconic trip-hop heroes recently played a mammoth date at Hyde Park for British Summer Time and will round off the summer with a massive hometown show in Bristol on September 3rd, with a supporting bill including Primal Scream and Skepta.
