Matt Maltese prepares for the end in the new video for ‘As The World Caves In’

He’s the crooning hero we need for those final moments on ‘ol planet Earth
Matt Maltese is bloody special. We’ve heard it across every track that we’ve heard so far from the South Londoner, and now it’s taking flight with the video for latest tracks ‘As The World Caves In’.

Featuring our mate Matt soundtracking the final moments of a couple facing the end, it’s like Frank Sinatra taking to the stand to capture those last few glimpses, dipping to the darkness with a cinematic quality that’s left us starstruck from the first listen.

Featuring appearances from members of fellow South London stormers Goat Girl, Sorry (previously known as Fish) and Dead Pretties – it’s another landmark moment from a man whose seismic moments are simply becoming a part of everyday life. He’s that vital.

Matt Maltese is lined up for sets at Are You Listening?, Live At Leeds and The Great Escape this summer, along with a string of support slots for The Maccabees on their final farewell tour.
