Matty Healy has confirmed the release of the band’s new album ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’ has been pushed back to 24th April.
Taking to Instagram to confirm the news, which first broke via an Apple Music listing earlier today, he confirmed the band were “really proud” of the album, and for “the sake of a couple of months, in the grand scheme of it it doesn’t make any difference”.
He went on to confirm that following the release of ‘Me & You Together Song’ this week (Thursday, 16th January), there’ll be further new songs in February, March and right before the album in April. All the new tracks will be played “intermittently” on their forthcoming UK tour, which kicks off this February. Matty went on to compare it to the way the band debuted new material on their live dates in the run up to the release of ‘I Like It When You Sleep…’.
He went on to reveal they’ll be playing live dates all the way through to December. So there we go.
