Maximo Park frontman Paul Smith is taking his new solo album on the road this November

His new album arrives next month.

Maximo Park frontman Paul Smith is going to tour the UK this November.

The dates are in support of his new solo album, ‘Diagrams’, due on 26th October via Billingham Records, preceded by lead single ‘Silver Rabbit’.

“It’s a punchy song where the self-doubt and regret in the lyrics is mirrored by the musical tension that develops as it goes along,” says Paul. “I grew up in the grunge era, so this has echoes of that sound but with my own romantic view of everyday life.”

The record follows on from debut solo outing ‘Margins’ (2010), ‘Frozen By Sight’ (2014) and ‘Contradictions’ (2015).
