Maximo Park have announced a new singles only tour, and dropped a new track, ‘Great Art’

The band's new tour will see them showcasing their back catalogue of singles this autumn.

Maximo Park have announced details of a new singles only tour, and a one off 7-inch single release featuring new song ‘Great Art’.

The band’s new tour will see them showcasing their back catalogue of singles this autumn, kicking off in Birmingham on 30th September and finishing up in Newcastle on 14th October.

Alongside the run, they’re dropping ‘Great Art’ – the first new music since 2021’s album ‘Nature Always Wins’.

“The song is about the insidious nature of Conservative ideology,” frontman Paul Smith explains, “and a response to people who say, “at least we’ll get some great art out of it!” We’re excited to have new material to play alongside our other singles on the Sïngular tour – we’ve always written songs crammed full of hooks, so that’s our ideal medium in some ways.”
