Meadow Meadow have shared the first single from their debut album

Check out 'Rain' now.

Meadow Meadow – the project of ex Spring King members Peter Darlington and James Green – have dropped a new single.

‘Rain’ follows on from their two EPs, 2020’s self-titled ‘Meadow Meadow’ and 2021’s ‘Silhouettes’, and marks the first taster from their debut album.

Peter explains: “I was walking along the side of the Thames and could see that it was raining on one side of the river, but not on the side where I was standing. This idea of the city being cut in two halves really struck me and that’s when the lyrics began to arrive. I thought about a relationship that was ending and how the city suddenly felt unknown to me.”
