Miley Cyrus has revealed she has no desire to tour at the moment.
In an interview with British Vogue, the singer shared that after her last headline arena show in 2014, she began to question touring as a whole.
“Do I want to live my life for anyone else’s pleasure or fulfilment other than my own”, she asked, stating shee prefers singing in a more intimate setting for family and friends. “Like singing for hundreds of thousands of people isn’t really the thing that I love,” she explained, adding, “There’s no connection. There’s no safety.”
The singer further explained that being in front of a large audience can be isolating. “If you’re in front of 100,000 people then you are alone,” she said.
Cyrus last toured in 2014 for ‘Bangerz’. Her latest album, ‘Endless Summer Vacation’, was released in March this year.
