MONEY reveal new track ‘Three Days Drinking And As Many Lovers Too’

  • Dork News Desk
  • April 13, 2016
MONEY are starting a run of live dates tonight, so they’ve decided to mark the occasion by dropping a brand new track.

Recorded in the same sessions as their current full-length ‘Suicide Songs’, the new cut is titled ‘Three Days Drinking And As Many Lovers Too’. Alright lads. No need to brag.

The band’s Jamie Lee explains: ”This song was recorded and written as a result of late drunken nights in the bowels of cities filled with pubs and anonymous apartments. Hungover mornings waking in strange underground rooms and wandering the streets looking for incident and the smallest demonstration of love or beauty. It should be listened to at night, drunk and alone.”

MONEY are set to play a couple of support dates with Frightened Rabbit before heading on their own headline jaunt. They’re also set to play the Great Escape, Latitude, Secret Garden Party and End of the Road festivals across the summer.

Their ‘upcoming UK live info’ reads:

April

13 Dunfermline, Alhambra (w/Frightened Rabbit)

14 London, St John At Hackney Church (w/Frightened Rabbit)

20 Sheffield, Harley

22 Manchester, Ritz

May

21 Brighton, The Great Escape

July

16 Southwold, Latitude

22 Huntingdon, Secret Garden Party

23 North Yorkshire, Deer Shed

31 Saltash, Port Eliot Festival

September

2-4 Dorset, End Of The Road Festival
