The first taster of 'Delta' sees the band joined by fans for a riverside sing-a-long.

Mumford & Sons have shared a video for their new single, ‘Guiding Light’.

Directed by Joe Connor, the video features Marcus and his surrogate children (that’s how it works, right? – Ed) performing outside London’s Tate Modern last week, where they played an ‘impromptu’ live set to fans and passers-by.

You’d imagine it wasn’t that impromptu, given they filmed it for a music video, but you get the point, Dear Reader.

A press release explains 100 fans were selected at random and invited to London to meet the band, where – following a brief rehearsal – they made the video with the fans joining in for the chorus. A bit like when Robbie Williams does ‘Angels’.

‘Guiding Light’ is the first track to arrive from Mumford & Sons’ fourth album ‘Delta’, which is set for release on 16th November.

You can check out the video for ‘Guiding Light’ below.
