Muse are back in the studio, and there’s new music looming on the horizon

Catch Matt Bellamy at work in this cheeky Instagram post
MUSE NUSE is coming, with an Instagram post from frontman Matt Bellamy confirming that the band are in the studio and working on some new material.

The clips finds Mr Bellamy playing away with some effects, looking to carve out a sound that’s most likely going to radiate out of fresh new Muse material on the horizon. All we know is that he wants to “add more delay”, so note that down as something to expect from album number eight from the stadium-sized trio – especially when he captions it as “new song coming soon”

That’s a pretty good indicator of what’s ahead right?

That music will stand as the first new sounds to emerge from Muse since the release of their latest LP ‘Drones’ back in 2015, after mammoth world tours and bonafide giant festival headline slots. The band will be hitting up the latter when they return to headline Reading & Leeds at the end of the summer.

‘Av a look at the tease below, and start preparing for the next star-gazed chapter Muse have to throw at us

Back in the studio. New song coming soon…
