Muse, Bastille, Glass Animals and more kick off Reading & Leeds 2017 line-up

Danny Brown, Against The Current, At The Drive In and more also make the initial batch of names.
The first batch of bands for next year’s Reading & Leeds festivals have been announced, with Muse set to top the bill.

The band return to the two-legged August Bank Holiday jamboree to lead the way on the 2017 line-up. “We’re very excited to be playing Reading and Leeds again,” they say. “More news about our plans for 2017 [is] coming in the new year.”

They’re not the only ones being revealed today, though. Elsewhere on the early bill are chart-bothering Bastille, while the legendary At The Drive In are returning to the UK. Major Lazer is popping over for a UK festival exclusive performance packed with bangers, Danny Brown is sure to be a standout performer, and Architects continue their loud and proud rise up the ranks.

Former Dork cover-stars Glass Animals bring the groove, and Against The Current finally make their Reading & Leeds bow, promising to confirm that this is the festival where they’ll truly belong.

There’s also room for Tory Lanez, While She Sleeps and Andy C, with hundreds of bands to be announced across eight stages.

Reading & Leeds takes place between 25th and 27th August 2017. Tickets are on sale now.
