Muzz have announced details of a brand new covers EP, helpfully titled ‘Covers’
The trio (made up of Interpol frontman Paul Banks, The Walkmen’s Matt Barrick and Bonny Light Horseman’s Josh Kaufman) released their self-titled debut album earlier in the year and now are putting their own spin on classics from the likes of Bob Dylan, Mazzy Star and Tracy Chapman. Tying with the news, the band have unveiled their own take on Arthur Russell’s classic ‘Nobody Wants A Lonely Heart’.
‘Covers’ is set for release on December 9th, coming swiftly after Muzz’ first ever full live performance as a part of ‘Muzz – Live In Kingston NY’ – an exclusive liver stream event all going down on December 4th. Tickets for the stream are on sale here.
Until then, check out ‘Nobody Wants A Lonely Heart’ below.
