mxmtoon is on the cover of this month’s Dork, ‘FYI’

The next of our nine covers, the magnificent Maia is graduating to the top class now.

When we say it’s been a weird year, we mean it. It’s not just the obvious things that impact all of us – it’s even things as seemingly unimportant (but actually Really Very Important – Ed) as making a pop magazine.

The next of our covers for this month’s issue, mxmtoon, was ‘shot remotely’, you see. Captured via the wonders of modern technology from her very own home, it’s also a lovely, quite intimate portrait of an artist who has been on our much watch list since she hit our 2020 Hype List at the start of the year.

She’s the fourth name for this month’s mag we’re announcing, as we compile some of the freshest, most exciting acts on the planet and give them their very own cover. If you want to find out about the first three, Cavetown, Arlo Parks and Dominic Fike, follow the links. That’s how the internet works, after all.

Want to know what else is in this issue? We’ll be revealing the rest of the covers over the next few hours, so follow us on Twitter and/or Instagram to ‘keep up’. What we can tell you, is you’ll also find new interviews with Everything Everything, The Magic Gang, Aluna and The Lemon Twigs, be introduced to Baby Queen, JP Saxe, Curtis Waters, Alec Wigdahl and Mysie, and get the Dork verdict on new albums from Declan McKenna, The Killers, Bright Eyes and ‘more’.

Available to order today and shipped from 1st September, you can grab a copy now, below. If you want to subscribe to Dork, get every issue delivered direct to your door, and save money as you go – you can do so right here.
