Swedish-born artist confirms extended deluxe edition of her debut album.

My Life As A Moth has shared the video for 'Closer To Earth', alongside announcing an extended deluxe edition of her debut album, 'The Parade of the Starlet & The Broken Hearted'.
Directed around ideas inspired by Plato's Cave, the visual accompanies one of the album's standout tracks. "Closer To Earth is a song inspired by the soul's incarnation journey into the material plane, and the experience of having one foot in each world," explains My Life As A Moth's Sofia. "The music video was an effort to reflect on what is real, perceived or an illusion as we are tethered to different realities."
Born in Sweden and now based in East London, My Life As A Moth first launched the project during lockdown, with 'The Parade of the Starlet & The Broken Hearted' drawing on experiences of trauma, manipulation, coercive control and recovery. The newly announced extended edition builds on the world introduced by the original release.
My Life As A Moth will play London's Dublin Castle on 12th August.

They've been one of the UK's most thrilling live bands for years. Now, with debut album 'Cannonball', Man/Woman/Chainsaw are proving the wait was worth it.
