Sometimes, something new just flies in out of nowhere and sends you into something marvellous – and that’s exactly what newcomers Thunder Jackson have done with debut offering ‘Guilty Party’.
Sounding like a soundtrack to neon-lit city life, blending danger and pop into one undeniable moreish mix of 80s snaps and twirls – the duo come from different worlds with little detail of what they’re all about. One is from South Wales, the other from Oklahoma – and after meeting in a LA taxi have gone on to craft something that already (after one track) we need to keep an eye on.
With a debut album being worked on, there’s not much else we can do here. Except keep playing ‘Guilty Party’ over and over and over and over. Sounds like a good plan right?
