Nadine Shah is currently favourite to win this year’s Mercury Prize

Nadine Shah is currently the bookies’ favourite to win this year’s Mercury Prize with her new album,Holiday Destination‘. 

She’s currently topping the leaderboard with odds in the region of 3/1 – 9/2, with Sons of Kemet’s ‘Your Queen is a Reptile and King Krule’s ‘The Ooz not far behind.

Potentially grabbing the £25,000 prize this year – in ‘general betting odds’ order – are:

The Awards Show will be held at the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith on Thursday, 20th September. Last year’s prize was taken home by Sampha, with his album ‘Process’.
