The National gave a new song a debut airing last night.

Titled ‘The Day I Die’, the track was played live for the first time at a charity show for Syrian refugees who landed in Hamilton, Ontario.

It was one of two new songs played – the other titled ‘Hague Blue’ – presumably both from the follow up to 2013’s ‘Trouble Will Find Me’, which is expected for release later this year.
