The National are stuck in the loo – and Lapsley’s there too

It’s a headline we never thought we’d type, bit thanks to Bob’s Burgers it’s a reality.
Aside from headlining Latitude last weekend, you’re probably wondering what The National are up to at the moment – and it seems we’ve got the answer.

Stuck in the loo, Yes you read that right. And duetting with Lapsley at the same time.

Looking back on animated hit Bob’s Burgers season finale, lets just say there was a bit of an incident with someone getting attached to a certain bathroom appliance. The logical thing to do was to pull together an anthem to soundtrack that.

Flushing away any cobwebs (sorry – Ed), it’s the most moving duet about being unable to move from a toilet that we’ve heard, well, ever.

You can check out The National and Lapsley in all their animated glory below. Whilst The National debuted a range of tracks at their Latitude headline set last weekend, Lapsley is set to play a huge night at London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in October.
