Neutral Milk Hotel have announced the release of a career-spanning box set, ‘The Collected Works of Neutral Milk Hotel’, due out February 24th via Merge Records.
The limited edition box set was initially self-released by Jeff Mangum under Neutral Milk Hotel Records in 2011, and this will be its first digital release.
The set includes an expanded double LP edition of On Avery Island, an exclusive 12″ picture disc of Live at Jittery Joe’s, a 7″ single with early four-track solo versions of On Avery Island’s “You’ve Passed” and “Where You’ll Find Me Now”, and a 10″ EP, Ferris Wheel on Fire. In addition, there is a previously unreleased live version of “Little Birds”, recorded at Brooklyn’s Prospect Park in 2014.
The box set also includes a remastered edition of the extended, seven-track version of 1995’s Everything Is, on 10″ vinyl.
