New music event Off The Record to launch in Manchester

The one-day event will take place in November.
Manchester will host a new multi-venue music event later this year.

Taking place on 4th November, Off The Record has a focus on new music and innovative ideas, with a line up hosting showcase performances by thirty emerging artists.

Each of the acts will have been nominated by a long list of industry professionals, including Elbow’s Guy Garvey, Huw Stephens and Frank Turner, who each put forward three for consideration.

The only criteria is that the act has to have been together for less than 24 months, and not yet released a debut album.

The venues taking part include Night and Day, The Castle, Gullivers, Soup Kitchen, Aatma, Ruby Lounge and Methodist Central Buildings. For more information, visit
