NewDad have released a new single.
Following on from recent drop ‘In My Head’, ‘Break In’ is out today (Thursday, 15th) via Fair Youth/Atlantic Records, the track was written by lead singer Julie when she was a teenager (under the name “Joolee”).
Guitarist Sean, who produced the track, says: “We decided that the song was too good to go to waste and now would be the perfect time to revisit the production with what we had learned in the years since. The song is about feeling like a stranger in your own body, while losing your sense of self.”
The four-piece recently revealed that they are currently recording their debut album at Rockfield Studios (Black Sabbath, Oasis) – it’ll follow on from their two previous EPs, ‘Waves’ (2021) and ‘Banshee’ (2022).
