Niall Horan has assured his fans that there is new music on the horizon, with a new album, tour dates and festivals to be announced for 2023.
The singer shared a video on his Twitter last night where he updated fans on what he’s been up to of late and what they can expect from him moving into the new year.
“I’m back,” Niall says in the video. “I’ve got new music coming in the new year that I’m really, really proud of. I appreciate you being so patient with me while I’ve done it.”
It will be his first new music since his feature on Anne-Marie’s 2021 track ‘Our Song’.
Niall went on to add: “One thing I’ve wanted to do forever is festivals and I’ve never really had the opportunity to do it. So I think we will be announcing some festivals in the next couple of days and weeks and months for next year.”
Niall’s ‘Nice To Meet Ya’ tour was unfortunately cancelled amidst the pandemic, with a livestreamed event at the Royal Albert Hall back in 2020 providing the only opportunity to showcase material from his previous album ‘Heartbreak Weather’.
The yet-to-be-announced 2023 dates will be his first shows in front of a live audience since 2019, aside from a recent surprise appearance in a Dublin pub and some spontaneous busking with his close friend Lewis Capaldi.
Updates can be expected on social media or Niall’s website, which you can access here.
