Nilüfer Yanya has released her own rendition of ‘Rid Of Me’, a track originally by PJ Harvey.
The cover arrives with a hypnotic and colourful visualiser accompaniment.
Speaking on the release, Nilüfer says, “‘Rid Of Me’ haunted me for many years after I first heard it, but in a comforting kind of way, like I knew it was always there for me. It comes across defiant, alien and twisted, but it is a perfect song. I actually think it’s very romantic despite what some of the lyrics get at.”

The cover marks the singer-songwriter’s first release since her recent sophomore album, ‘PAINLESS’. You can read Dork’s 4-star review of the record here, and read the latest Dork feature with Nilüfer Yanya here.
