There are no strings on Parquet Courts with their new vid for ‘Human Performance’

Click play at your peril.
If you thought Interpol’s ‘Evil’ was the creepiest puppet to feature in a music video, well, Parquet Courts are here to give you some fresh nightmares.

Directed by Phil Collins (no, not THAT one), the video for their title track ‘Human Performance’ features a variety of disturbing puppets engaging in even more disturbing behaviour. If you’ve ever wondered what it would look like if a hyper-realistic Vladimir Lenin marionette took part in some casual debauchery, while a pack of more cartoonish puppets tried to seduce and/or eat an indie band, then this will be right up your alley.

If not (most of you, hopefully), click play at your peril, and be aware that this is most definitely NSFW.
