Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have dropped a brand new single, ‘Pretty Boy’ – the first track from their upcoming fourth studio album.
The track is the first song to be revealed from Noel’s upcoming fourth solo studio album, which follows three number-one solo LPs as well as seven chart-topping records with Oasis. The new project is currently unnamed but is slated for release next year.
Recorded at his own London studio, Lone Star Sound, the song was co-produced alongside Paul ‘Strangeboy’ Stacey and features long-time friend and collaborator Johnny Marr on guitar duties.
“For this new record it was the first thing I wrote, the first thing I demoed and the first thing I finished, so it’s only right that it’s the first thing people get to hear,” Noel says of ‘Pretty Boy’. “Massive shout out to my mainest man Johnny Marr for taking it somewhere special. Oh … and watch out for a cameo from me in the video … first one to spot me wins a bag of Flamin’ Hot Wotsits Giants!!”
