Oli Fox has released a new happy heartbreak song, ‘Young’

He's previously toured with Dork cover star Sigrid, you know.

Newcomer Oli Fox has released his new track, ‘Young’.

The 22-year-old’s third single, it’s out now via Island Records and arrives ahead of his sold-out debut London show at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen on 14th March. He’ll also play The Great Escape on 9th May.

“In my head losing love had been such a negative situation to be in, until I realised that there’s a lot of positive things that can come from it!” says Oli. “This song made me realise that; it was a self-medicating, happy heartbreak song I didn’t know I needed until I wrote it.

“I feel as a young person growing up, because of all the press and films written about falling in love, you have this weird theory in your head that a partner is a necessity in life, we’re all guilty of it! It’s how you bounce-back that’s important, that’s what this song taught me, shit happens.”
