Oliva Dean has shared her latest track, ‘UFO’.

More lowkey than we might be used to for Olivia Dean, ‘UFO’ is the follow-up to 2022’s ‘Danger’. It is set to be the first single from her yet-to-be-announced debut album. It comes after the Walthamstow hailing artist announced she was set to embark on a now-sold out UK tour in March, as well as support slots with Kojey Radical and Loyle Carner. The tour is set to include her biggest headline show to date at London’s Roundhouse.

On ‘UFO’, Olivia explains: “‘UFO’ was born out of a conversation over a cup of tea with Matt Hales (co-writer and producer). We were joking about how love is a ‘sexy problem’ to have and thought it would be funny to try and put it in a song. I wanted it to feel intimate and existential and so we kept it simple with guitar and a vocoder. It’s a shy love song, thoughts I would normally keep to myself but am learning to share.”

She has also shared a one-take visualiser for the track, which you can check out below.
