Olivia Rodrigo’s new Disney+ film driving home 2 u (a SOUR film) will feature an unreleased track

An unreleased cut from 'Sour' will appear during the end credits of the film.

Olivia Rodrigo has revealed that her new Disney+ film driving home 2 u (a SOUR film) will feature an unreleased track.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the star revealed an unreleased cut from ‘Sour’ will appear during the end credits of the film.

Apparently, it’s an iPhone demo still in progress. “I was listening to some of them and heard it and thought, ‘Oh, it’s kind of good!’ With the film, I wanted people to have a new bit of Sour content with it,” Rodrigo explained.

The film will feature Olivia taking a road trip from Salt Lake City to LA, stopping off on the way to perform songs from her debut album in locations including the Mojave Airplane Boneyard, Roy’s Motel & Café, Arcosanti, and the Red Rock Canyon State Park.

It’ll also feature guests including Jacob Collier, Blu DeTiger and Towa Bird.

Olivia Rodrigo already has a title for her next album, the star has revealed in an interview with Billboard.

Speaking in an interview after being named the US title’s Woman of the Year, Olivia explained: “I have a title for my next album and a few songs. It’s really exciting to think about the next world that’s coming up for me. I just love writing songs. I’m trying not to put too much pressure on myself. [I want to] just sort of explore and have fun right now.”

She goes on to reveal that “the craziness of ‘Sour’ being out in the world” has brought her and her collaborator Dan Nigro “closer together.”

“I trust him so much,” she continues, “and really enjoy the music we’ve been making.”
